"I can use the plastic-covered table in my semi-formal wedding?
Everybody (mothers, aunts, friends) said plastic covers are horribly bad taste. I've never seen plastic used, but an extra $ 300 + on table tops! Are they really so bad? The guest list is about 300, so I've been trying to reduce costs as much as possible. However, I do not want to call or cheap fun, especially when it will spend nearly $ 8,000 for all day. If it is indeed so bad, I'd rather spend the $ 300 I would get some, Impartial honest opinions. BTW: Tables 5 'round, table cloth fabric hanging near the floor and a plastic one third of the way down. The fabric is $ 12/ea (rent) and the plastic just $ 3.
I do not think a plastic tablecloth would be very nice. Plastic lenses are fairly cheap and a bit sticky. They sell in the supermarket, even. I try to see if you can borrow some from a friend or find a good price. Outlet stores have tablecloths if they sell that stuff in their regular places. Are you renting a place for the wedding? Maybe you could see if the site could provide some use.
