basically, long story short my bf and i were stupid and got caught doing it (though no clothes were removed, and you couldnt see anything…) at a wedding. we didnt think anyone could see, but as it turned out, they could. read the question for more info. my question here is, how the heck to i apologize to the bride and groom? now, the groom thought it was a riot and the bride also said not to worry about it, that it was funny. however, i still feel bad. i wouldnt be too angry but i also wouldnt be happy and feel i owe and apology. im not the greastest of friends with either, however my bf is good friends with the groom, theyre on the same baseball team. i was thinking of just writing them a little apology, and thank you for an invite in the same card and mailing it? what do i do, i feel bad…
I think that sending an apologize note/card would be appropriate and very nice of you. You are lucky that you had such an understanding bride and groom. While I know me and my husband would have just laughed it off there are lots of the brides out there that would have had a fit if someone did that at their wedding. These things happen. Just send a short apologize, thank them for being so understanding and for the invitation. Maybe you could even offer to take them out for dinner and drinks.
